43 Folders Likes Anne Lamott

43 Folders — a blog that describes itself as being about tricks, hacks and other cool stuff — recently discovered the book Bird by Bird by Anne Lamott.  Bird by Bird is a wonderful instructional book on writing. 

But 43 Folders is a blogs that’s concerned with finding ways to do things efficiently — such as the ideas in David Allen’s Getting Things Done.  That’s why he posted a quote from Bird on Bird about Anne Lamott recommending that you carry index cards and pens with you where ever you go.  That way when great ideas pop into your head — you can always immediately write them down.

It’s good advice — even for lawyers!
