As reported today in the Wall Street Journal, Marilee Jones, the dean of admissions at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, was outed for lies on her resume. She was forced to resign.
It seems that Jones never graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute or from Albany Medical College — as she claimed.
An anonymous tip led to the disclosure.

That must be vicious stress, knowing that the guillotine blade is poised to fall if your secret ever gets out. Thirty years of that can eat a hole in your stomach lining.
Apparently, she did the job well without the benefit of the degrees, but lying is verbotten.
