Portland Comedy Connection

This weekend I performed stand-up on Friday and Saturday nights at the Portland Comedy Connection.  If you’re ever in Portland and looking for a fun and relaxed night out — the Comedy Connection is the place to go.

Both nights were showcase nights (meaning a host and 4 or 5 other comics each doing 5 to 15 minute routines).  Saturday night, the host was George Hamm, a comic who often performs with Bob Marley.

George did a wonderful job warming up the crowd so that when I was going on, they were already in the mood to laugh.  It’s always much easier as a comic doing a short bit going on AFTER the crowd has been laughing for a while.

Bob Marley is coming to the club again on June 12th, 13h and 14^th.  He always sells out each show (and often has to add more), so get your tickets early!
