Biography

I’ve been in practice for nearly 30 years. For several years I was a partner in a small firm, but most of that time I’ve practiced on my own.

I’m one of the early adopters of technology and still have an old KayPro portible computer. It had 64 K of memory, a 9″ green screen and dual 5 1/4 floppy drives.

I am currently accepting clients in all areas of family law (divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, paternity, mediation, protection from abuse and gestational agreements).

I also handle most real estate and business matters, Wills & probate cases, business and incorporations, and most types of civil litigation.

I often consult with attorneys, law firms and their clients on software and hardware issues. I also do book reviews and software reviews for the Maine Lawyers Weekly and other publications.

I have written extensively on technology issues and have given seminars to attorneys and paralegals on a variety of technology topics. I’m available for consultations and speaking engagements as a keynote speaker, trainer, workshop leader or seminar instructor.

I’m the Past President (1984-1985) of the Portland Jaycees and am a member and Past President (1996-1997) of the Portland Rotary Club.

In May of 2013, I joined the law firm of Robinson, Kriger & McCallum.
