I keep reading stories about those poor Yankees. Oh my — last place. They’ve lost 5 of 6 to the Red Sox and everyone wonders if Joe Torre is on the hot seat.
Give me a break! A couple of years ago they started 11–19 before winning ten in a row. Please. It’s still April.
Torre’s job is safe … for now. The poor, poor Yankees will turn things around. Sure, the Red Sox Nation would like it to be otherwise. But come on, get real.
Not to mix sports or anything, but someone who should lose his job is Doc Rivers of the Celtics. Where are the calls for his head? The Celtics this year went 24–58. That’s a disgrace!
Last year they were 33–49 and the year before they were 45–37. They’re getting worse every year, not better. Doc Rivers has been coach for three years and each year the Celtics have lost more games than the year before.
Celtics pride? I haven’t seen that since the Larry Bird years. Don’t tell me that the team is young and inexperienced. That’s just a lame excuse. What happened to that three year plan that was batted around when Rivers came on board? The Celtics are now the laughing stock of the NBA.
Rivers should be shown the exit.
Hey, the Bulls are winning without Michael. The Celtics can win without Larry too — with the right coach.
