She Said: “After two miserable games where the yankees totally sucked (don,t even talk to me about PayRod) we finally got a fun, well played, well matched game thurs. Ended up as a battle of the closers — the rivalry at its best… and I’ll be at Fenway next month for the closing weekend. Maybe Aura, Mystique, & Babe will join me if we do a long-shot Rockies run and stay in the race.“
He Said: “Anytime we take two-out-of-three, it’s a good series. The loss shows the weakness we’ve had all year: closing out close games. If that weakness isn’t fixed fast, we’re toast, even if we make the playoffs.”
